Fatal Hussein Outlawz ties are what this whole ad is built on. Relativity Records put this out in 1998 to push his debut, Final Conflict, and leaned all the way into who he stood next to — credits on “Hit ‘Em Up,” “When We Ride,” “All Eyez on Me,” and “Made Niggaz” doing the talking a bio usually would.
Makes sense for the time. Death Row was falling apart and the Outlawz had scattered, everybody looking for their next move. Relativity bet on continuity over introducing something new — fans already trusted the name he came up under. Small piece of paper, but it says a lot about how affiliation itself became a business strategy in that post-2Pac era.
