Nas and DJ Premier have been teasing this link-up for so long it started to feel like rap folklore, but Light Years is finally on the calendar: it ships/releases December 12, 2025. And yeah—right before Christmas—so for the old heads, that’s the kind of “gift” that actually lands.

If you were one of the 1,000 people who grabbed the Day Ones signed vinyl at $125, you didn’t just pre-order a record—you locked down a limited run that’s already getting treated like a collectible. The resale wave is already here: copies are showing up on eBay with ambitious price tags, and at least one signed listing has already sold for $999, while other solds are hovering around the $300-$700 range.

For everyone who missed the signed version, the good news is the standard first pressing is still sitting around the $26–$27 range at retail—basically the “normal-person” option in a rollout that’s clearly built to feed both fans and flippers.
