PinkPantheress Defies Industry Silence, Stands With Palestine

Last updated on December 15, 2025

PinkPantheress

I first came across PinkPantheress in the summer of 2021 while wandering through Cincinnati, Ohio. A friend of mine, known for her eclectic taste, introduced me to her music. She had a playlist that jumped from the mud of Electric Forest to catchy pop jams that even a hip-hop head like me could appreciate.

One track in particular still lingers in my memory: Just For Me. Her voice was unlike anything I had heard before, a soft British accent gliding over a stripped-down retro pop beat. It felt fresh, fun, and completely innocent, leaving an impression that hasn’t faded since.

Fast forward to the fall of 2025, and PinkPantheress has grown tremendously, not only musically, but also politically. Most recently, she used her platform to speak out against the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Her message was brave and urgent:

“Neutrality or silence shouldn’t be an option. Give Palestine your voice. And when your voice goes hoarse, hang your flags. Wear your keffiyeh. Show them we are here.”

Looking back, it feels almost full circle. The same voice that first caught my ear in Cincinnati now carries a message far bigger than a song…
